The Dassault Alpha Jet is a jet designed for advanced training and light attack missions. It was created through German-French cooperation and was put into use in the 1970s. Both single and two-seat versions (pilot and instructor) were produced. Alpha Jet served in France, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and Egypt, among others. It is still used today in France.

The block model was developed under license from the French military aircraft manufacturer, Dassault Aviation, and completes the collection of Armed Forces aircraft issued in 1:48 scale. The model includes high quality prints and stickers (painted on wings and ailerons). The set also includes simplified pilot figures that can be placed in the open cockpit. Depending on your preference, the aircrafts landing gear can be easily removed to display on a stand. The set includes a block display stand and a plate with the name of the model.
