BM-13 Katyusha - ZIS-6 COBI Historical Building Blocks 2280

Katyusha was a family of Soviet-made rocket launchers. Their combat use has been documented since mid-1941. Despite the rockets low accuracy, the shelling of enemy positions using Katyushas was very effective thanks to their concentration in a relatively small area and the large number of rockets. Additionally, the shrill sound of missile launch caused justified panic among the enemy ranks. It is not without reason that the Germans called these weapons Stalins organs. The BM-13 model was a skid-mounted rocket launcher mounted on the chassis of ZIS vehicles. The M-13 missiles were mounted in two rows, and their range, depending on the version, was over 9 kilometers.

The set of the famous BM-13 KATYUSHA rocket launcher was developed in a 1:35 scale, compatible with COBI figures, and consists of 440 building blocks. The use of the latest elements from the COBI catalog allowed for a faithful reproduction of the original vehicles distinctive shapes. The model features rotating wheels with tires, an adjustable firing angle, opening cabin, and removable rockets.

All graphic elements are high-quality prints. The figures represent Soviet soldiers from the rocket launcher unit. Both officer and enlisted figures also have detailed prints on the back. The set includes a plate with the name of the rocket launcher printed on it.
