The Sd.Kfz.251 was the basic half-track armored vehicle used by the German army during World War II. Production of various versions started in 1939. Other combat vehicles were also built on its basis. It was produced in four production models, from A to D, and 23 basic and field versions, of which the standard and most numerous was the Sd.Kfz.251/1 armored personnel vehicle. The armored hull was made of welded armor plates. The bow ended behind the drivers seat. It protected the driver, commander, and engine. The fighting compartment accommodated 10 soldiers. The large, outward-opening rear door provided access to the interior.

The Sd.Kfz.251 Ausf. D half-track vehicle was faithfully recreated using COBI building blocks. The vehicle is equipped with movable wheels with real tires. The chains, consisting of realistic block connections, function and behave realistically when the vehicle moves. An opening rear door, two machine guns, and additional accessories make the transporter even more attractive. The entire set is complemented by a figure of an armored grenadier with double-sided printing. The soldier is equipped with a cap, a block imitating a gas mask canister and a water bottle, a sling for a weapon, an MP 40 submachine gun, and a Panzerfaust grenade launcher.
