The Junkers JU-88 is another fantastic set among COBIs vast collection of aircraft, and the new star in the historical collection dedicated to World War II. The Ju-88 was a German twin-engine aircraft with versatile capabilities. It was nicknamed the German mosquito for a reason. It can easily be compared to the West de Havilland Mosquito, also available from COBI! The Ju-88 was designed as a high-speed bomber and was perfect for low altitude attacks and shallow dive bombing runs. It could also function as a night fighter, torpedo bomber, and reconnaissance aircraft. It was one of the most popular aircraft of World War II! Between 1939 and 1945, almost 15,000 units of this machine were produced in many variations.

The COBI model of the famous Ju-88 bomber aircraft has been carefully developed using 1,160 building blocks in the sensational scale of 1:32. The set only includes permanent prints, you wont find a single sticker here! To better reflect the complex shape of the cockpit, we have developed new block patterns! There is also a pilot figure in the cockpit. The set includes movable elements such as propellers, flaps, and bomb bay doors. Removable bombs and retractable wheels are located under the wings.
