Lim-5 East Germany Air Force - MiG-17F COBI Historical building blocks 5825

The Lim-5 fighter jet was a Soviet licensed Mikoyan MiG-17F built by the Polish aviation industry. The production of LIM aircraft resulted in significant development of the aviation industry in Poland. The Lim-5 planes were equipped with the WK-1F engine, also produced under license.

120 Lim-5 and 40 Lim-5P aircraft were delivered to the German Democratic Republic. East German aviation also ordered parts from Poland for the purpose of repairs, modernization, and modification of the aircraft. The LIM-5 served in the German Air Force from 1958 to 1985.

The model aircraft LIM-5 (MIG-17F) is designed in the 1:32 scale and consists of 575 high-quality elements. All markings, emblems, and inscriptions on the model are prints that do not wear off during use.
