P-47 Thunderbolt Cobi Building Blocks Historical 5737
The P-47 Thunderbolt™ was a single-seat fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft, the precursor to modern multi-role combat aircraft. It was the largest single-engine fighter aircraft of World War II, with over 15,000 produced, and it was the most numerous and one of the most successful American fighter aircraft. The P-47 operated on the frontlines in Europe, Africa, the Far East, and the Pacific. Due to its size, the Thunderbolt was affectionately called the Jug. This was an abbreviation of Juggernaut, which means a large truck.
The P-47 building block model was developed in a 1:32 scale, matching the rest of the collection, using 477 COBI construction blocks. The model features high-quality prints that do not wear off during use. With their help, the historical Little Chief paint scheme and other aircraft details were recreated. The model has many moving elements such as rotating wheels with rubber tires, a moving propeller, and ailerons. In the cockpit, you can place the pilot figure included in the set! This is a fantastic model for history and aviation enthusiasts, as well as military collectors. And the set is completed with a display stand and a block with the aircrafts name printed on it.
