Panda young, playful Schleich Wild Life 14734
When a panda cub is born, it is small. Extremely small. At birth, it weighs just around 100 grams. Thats about the weight of a chocolate bar or a small cup of yogurt. Except for kangaroos, there are no other mammals that give birth to such small offspring. After four weeks, the panda cub develops its characteristic black and white fur, and after six to eight weeks, it opens its eyes for the first time. It stays with its mother for about two years and is very playful. The mother enjoys gently rolling the cub back and forth and playfully wrestling with it.
