The cute little car not only had a great design, but was also affordable, extra durable and strong. A journalist from the New York Times nicknamed it the Beetle, and it quickly became a cult classic. In 1998, a new version, the New Beetle, replaced the original model. After 70 years and more than 22 million cars produced, the last Beetle was made at the VW factory in Puebla, Mexico.
