For upgrading from a filter pump to a sand filtration system. Fits most steel wall pools.

Skimmer set used to upgrade a steel wall pool from a filter pump to a sand filter. The skimmer cleans the water surface, keeping the pool water clean and clear, and directs the water down to the sand filter system, where it is efficiently cleaned before being returned to the pool through the included return nozzle. The skimmer can adjust to varying water levels. The set includes a skimmer basket for collecting larger debris and a suction plate, allowing for the attachment of a suction hose to the filter system through the skimmer when vacuuming the pool bottom.

Pool hoses and hose clamps must be purchased separately. Skimmer bags that catch most debris (item 1549) are recommended for the skimmer basket (additional purchase). It is practical to install a shut-off valve with threading and hose connection (item 1555) on the skimmer outlet and return (additional purchase).
