Snow and rainwater accumulate on top of the cover during winter and can damage both the cover and the pool. When its cold and wet outside, the pool is not the first thing on your mind. Therefore, it can be difficult to remember to remove the collected water and snow when the elements have been generous.

The winter pillow compensates for the extra pressure that will build up over time on top of the cover.

By placing the inflated winter pillow under the cover, a flexible void is created that equalizes the extra pressure which otherwise could damage the pool walls, liner, and cover.

Please note that the pillow should be inflated to 60-80% to allow for compression.

The pillow can be used in all pools up to 30,000 liters and should be placed in the middle of the pool. If you have a larger pool, we recommend using more than one pillow. The pillow is made of strong PVC material and has sturdy eyelets mounted in each corner for easy attachment with a string.

Relevant accessories:

During winter, you should use a lockable All-Season cover (e.g. item 2108). Also, remember to protect the pool from damage caused by built-up ice pressure with winter floats (item 1613) and to install an ice protector in the skimmer (item 1612). It is also a good idea to add a strong anti-scale agent to your pool water to ensure it is well-protected during the winter (item 1790).

We recommend removing large amounts of snow due to the weight load.
